This website is operated by Expensive Design, a design studio based in Thailand. We build WordPress themes, plugins, and websites for businesses, freelancers, and developers.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect personal data in the following situations:
a) When you place an order (WooCommerce)
- Full name
- Email address
- Billing address
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we never store your card details)
- Order history and purchase details
b) When you create an account
- Username and password (stored encrypted)
- Email address
- Account activity and order history
c) When you contact us
- Name and email address submitted via contact forms
- The content of your message
d) Automatically (when you browse the site)
- IP address and browser type
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring website
- This data is collected via cookies and Google Analytics (see Section 5)
3. Why We Collect It
We use your data only for the following purposes:
- To process and fulfil your orders — including sending order confirmations and download links
- To manage your account — so you can log in and access your purchases
- To provide customer support — to respond to questions and resolve issues
- To improve the site — using aggregated, anonymised analytics data
- To comply with legal obligations — such as tax record-keeping
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising targeting or profiling.
4. How Long We Keep Your Data
- Order records — retained for 7 years to comply with Thai accounting and tax law
- Account data — kept for as long as your account is active; you can request deletion at any time
- Contact form submissions — kept for up to 12 months, then deleted
- Analytics data — retained according to Google Analytics default settings (up to 26 months)
5. Third-Party Services
Stripe (Payment Processing)
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you check out, your card details are sent directly and securely to Stripe — we never see or store them. Stripe is PCI-DSS compliant. You can read Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This service uses cookies to collect anonymised data about page views, session duration, and traffic sources. This data is processed by Google and may be stored on servers outside Thailand.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function (login sessions, shopping cart, security)
- Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics to collect anonymised usage data
You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings. Note that disabling essential cookies may affect your ability to log in or complete a purchase.

You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time for any processing based on consent

8. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, including:
- SSL encryption on all pages (HTTPS)
- Encrypted password storage
- Payment processing handled entirely by Stripe — no card data touches our servers
- Regular software and security updates
9. Children’s Privacy
Our site is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered account holders.
